Portmeirion - one of the inspirational locations for our equally inspirational courses

Merely understanding leadership concepts is not enough in today's dynamic business world; leadership must be brought to life. The role of a leader is to engage at all levels in a business’ hierarchy; ensuring goals are set and the right environment is created to achieve them. To do this a leader must possess and actively utilise a wide range of competencies.

Portmeirion is just one of the inspirational locations we have selected for this equally inspirational training programme

This superior leadership skills programme helps delegates to acquire these competencies, then turn theory into good leadership habit and behaviour back in the workplace over 95 days.

We generate the motivation needed to perform beyond the training event. We take delegates into a sustainable learning zone, only limited by their desire and willingness to seek out future learning opportunities.

10 things we do that make ‘Centurion’ an unmissable leadership development programme that will improve performance in your business:

“We have all benefited immensely from our development programme. Not only has our performance as individuals improved as a result, but the performance of the team has improved beyond our wildest expectations. Who is the course aimed at?

“Winners look for continuous improvement, losers look for excuses

'Centurion' is designed for managers who want to enhance essential leadership skills so they can inspire, influence and motivate their people to achieve greater success.

This programme delivers the continuous improvement required by managers at all levels.

What kind of leadership development programme is it?

This practical programme is delivered as a mixture of high impact experiential learning activity, combined with our ‘get 2 grips with….’ discussion-based learning interventions. Each component of the process interacts to form a leadership profile, developed and owned by all participants.

Learning is then delivered back into the workplace over a 95-day period in partnership with the delegate's sponsoring line manager and Reach Another Level.

Outdoor experiential learning components are delivered under controlled conditions by our team of expert facilitators.

Key Programme Principles

The programme is founded on:

  • Generating an environment where open and honest feedback is central to personal development and growth.
  • Building ‘self owned’ leadership development profiles.
  • Developing colleague support, trust and open communication.
  • Identifying a process of learning and ‘leadership growth’ beyond the initial event.
  • Making a personal and organisation difference back in the workplace.
  • Allowing personal capability to be developed around solid leadership foundations.

What makes this programme more effective than other leadership training courses?

We do

  • Provide constant feedback to reinforce required behaviours.
  • Provide real opportunities to test out and apply learning.
  • Take people outside their comfort zone to aid learning, but not to make an impact.
  • Support the achievement of personal goals.
  • Create the desire and route to succeed as a leader.
  • Deliver a blend of experiential and discussion based learning that reinforces the programme’s principles.
  • Provide support back in the workplace ‘LEARNING IS WHAT YOU ARE LEFT WITH AFTER YOU HAVE FORGOTTEN WHAT YOU HAVE BEEN TAUGHT’.

We do not

  • Expect people to remember textbook leadership models, just apply what is relevant to them.
  • Have attendees’ abseiling and tell them how conquering their fear and getting support will make them a better leader.
  • Expect leaders to be who they are not, but who they can be.
  • Lecture to prove how much we know, but insist on two-way quality learning conversations.
